8 Tips For CDAC Placement Preparation
Hi friends, After 5 months of rigorous training, comes the phase where finally you will get what you were striving for .i.e. placement.

Main joint placement for all cdac centres in a particular city is conducted by CDAC & is called On campus placement. Some cdac centres offer placement for their candidates who don't get any job offer in on campus placement & is called off campus placement.

Every year, more than 150 companies register themselves for on campus placement. Each company has different criterion in on campus placements for shortlisting & this criterion is not reavealed. The different criterion for on campus placements are as follows:

(A) Your passing year
(B) CCEE score of CDAC
(C) Your academics (having 60%+ is good. But, chill most of the students join cdac because, there academics are not that good & their colleges not allowed them for campus placements because of it.)
(D) Your Engineering field. (For DAC -ECE/IT/CSE preferred by some companies)

1.Now, comes preparation part
Choose one technology, one language JAVA / .NET whichever u feel comfortable with , study it from the very scratch and keep practicing coding questions or MCQ’S from Day 1 from Geeksforgeeks, sanfoundary etc. You can also refer this site.

2.If you are failing in above mentioned criterions for shortlisting, still you will be getting enough calls for interview provided you score well in CCEE exam.

3.Product based startup companies look for candidates with good academics projects and good cdac CCEE scores. They don't care much about your graduate percentage. But, they will ask everything Data Structures, java, .NET, So please study well during the course only because during the placements you won't be having enough time ( Trust me you would be running here and there for placement).

4.If a candidate matches with all criterions for shortlisting, he will be getting 5-6 interview calls a day. So be ready for it.

5.During on-campus programme, a candidate can get maximum 30 calls. After that his PMS would be blocked, so try your best to get placed during first month only ( before you touch number 30). For off-campus your pms will be unblocked again, so again you will be given maximum 5 calls.

6. Be patient during placement programme, everyone will get enough chance to perform if not during on-campus but definitely during off-campus (but be ready for tough competition during off-campus). Study properly well before placement programme, Because you won't be getting enough time during placements . Keep revising your notes.

7. Do not waste too much time on your CDAC project, only give what is required. Just after your project submission you will have on- campus placement programme.

8. Do not miss any lecture especially java, c++, .Net, DS and clear your doubts during the lecture only. Make a note of whatever is being taught.

All the best
